Our Story

It is the couple Sigurdur Ágústsson chef and Birta Jónsdóttir chef who are behind the restaurant Krisp in Selfoss. Soon after Siggi and Birta met, it became apparent that their main interest in both was cooking and everything related to it. So it wasn’t long before they started dreaming about opening their own restaurant. In October 2018, that dream came true.
